Fyne Audio Loudspeakers at Audio Genesis

We are welcoming Fyne Audio to our brand lineup, a relatively new loudspeaker manufacturer that is located in Glasgow, Scotland founded in 2017.

The team behind Fyne Audio has over 200 years’ audio industry experience (many former Tannoy talent) who pride themselves on being devoted audio professionals with a passion for music and desire for the finest sound quality.

Fyne has a wide range (many already multi-award winning), including a comprehensive selection compact bookshelf speakers that are a great value proposition for starting your hi-fi journey.

We have been listening to a few models in our demo rooms for the past couple weeks, hearing how it synergises with our existing brands. It passed our tests. We are excited to be making this available.

FyneFlute

A masterpiece of sound engineering. Designed to enhance the clarity and richness of audio reproduction, this innovative fluted roll-surround delivers meticulous control of cone reflections, crucial for delivering crystal-clear midrange and precise vocal performances.

FyneFlute achieves this by using a custom-designed surround at the cone edge, which effectively eliminates mistermination effects and reduces colouration.

The result is a remarkably detailed and natural sound, bringing each musical nuance to the forefront.

BassTrax

Fyne Audio’s patented BassTrax technology represents a significant leap in bass reproduction, designed to enrich the depth and quality of low-frequency sounds. This pioneering technology employs an innovative Tractrix profile diffuser, transforming the way bass energy is distributed in a room.

Instead of directing bass solely downwards, BassTrax converts plain wave energy into a 360 degree wavefront, integrating Low Frequency energy uniformly into the room. This results in a fuller, richer bass that envelopes the listener without overwhelming the balance of the sound spectrum.

This clever arrangement also makes the loudspeaker less critical of room positioning, perfect for those tight spaces.
