Neat Acoustics Momentum J6

The Momentum J-6 is a 2.5-way design incorporating two 170mm Ultimatum type bass/midrange drive units coupled with the highly regarded ELAC Jet 5 tweeter.

The J-6 retains the downward firing iso-baric arrangement of the original model, using the bass/midrange units from Neat's legendary Ultimatum models, coupled with a custom version of the highly regarded Elac tweeter.

The upper section houses the ELAC Jet 5 AMT tweeter and Neat’s own ‘R3’ unit handling bass and midrange, thus acting as a sealed 2-way loudspeaker in its own right. This is sectioned off from the lower section, which features two downward-facing 170 mm drive units in isobaric configuration, handling only the very low bass frequencies as if it were an integrated subwoofer.

The addition of the Ultimatum style plinth gives great stability to the enclosure, resulting in exceptionally precise stereo focus.

The crossover is a minimal design, employing 1st & 2nd order slopes. The crossover components are all hard-wired, with point-to-point connections in order to maximise integrity. The components are of premium audio quality, carefully chosen for their contribution to the cohesion of the overall performance.

For a full-range loudspeaker, the Momentum J-6 has a very small footprint and can be easily accommodated in compact spaces. Combining stunning bass power with delicate subtlety, it delivers a comprehensive depiction of any type of music.
